Just after coming back to Arcosanti I participated in a major pour below the pool area. The project involves shoring up an area below the pool to ensure that the pool remains stable and is undermined by the earth and rock below.

This reminds me of a ancient Anastazi ruin. Wonder what people will think when then unearth this after we are long gone.
Above you can see the formwork and rebar for the bench Wil Holman made…ready to be poured. We later had a chance to test the seat out at the Avalanche Bar & Grill party before David left for summer vacation.
Of course when the gravel and sand gets low we need to go up the hill with the pick up to get more.
